National Park Theniet El Had






National Park Theniet El-Had is located north-west of Algeria in the province of Tissemsilt a few kilometers from the eponymous town of Theniet El Had in the heart of the Tell Atlas.

The park covers an area of ​​3425 ha of which 2,968 ha are covered with vegetation. The park represents a set of very interesting natural sites by the richness of its flora and fauna, the river system and its geomorphology.

Its flora consists mainly of oak Atlas, green oaks, cork oaks Zeen, mountain ash and serviceberry.

The fauna is no exception, include the presence of the golden eagle, Bonelli's eagle, wild boar, jackal, falcon, vulture, porcupine and nozzle.







The highlight of the park is Mount Ras El Braret which rises to 1787 meters.

National Park Theniet El Had is the perfect place for hiking while enjoying nature in the wild, beautiful cedar forests and mountain landscapes.
